Navi’s Pictures was created in loving memory of Nava Ruth Bas Hadassa, with the goal of providing free photography sessions for Jewish children who are sick and their families, wherever they live in the world.
Little Navi, the beloved daughter of Yossi and Haddasah Chein of Jerusalem, Israel, passed away 3 weeks ago at the age of 2 after battling an illness.
Launched on Facebook a few days ago, the response to the project has already been overwhelming – whether from photographers around the world wanting to donate their time and talent, from people spreading the word on Facebook by “liking” and sharing Navi’s page, and also, unfortunately, from people wanting to schedule a photo session for their own child or for a sick child they know.
Please ‘like’ and share Navi’s Pictures page on Facebook to help spread the word: https://www.facebook.com/picturesfornavi -if you are a photographer who would like to donate your time and talent, please message them through their facebook page.
We hope that all sick children will soon be cured and that this project will swiftly become redundant.
Nava Ruth bas her fathers name should have and aliya.
Last word of article: not ‘redundant’ you mean superfluous.
(not ‘unnecessary repetition’, but ‘unnecessary’.
We indeed should have the true geula now.
