Perspectives magazine, published by Merkaz Anash, is recognized for its in-depth explorations of Lubavitch thought and history.
Perspectives Twenty-Three cover article is a farbrengen by the Rebbe’s choizer Reb Yoel Kahan on the value of listening and learning the Rebbe’s sichos in their raw form. The Rebbe’s teachings are available today in assorted synopses and adaptations, but does it compare to learning from the original? Read about it in To Hear It from the Rebbe Himself.
Also included in this issue is the eagerly-awaited sequel to One Rebbe, Two Barons, Three Years, and Four Hundred Thousand Rubles – The Battle for the Soul of the Russian Cheder. This article is a fascinating account of the Rebbe Rashab’s determined effort to stop a one-million-franc pledge to the Haskalah school network.
Other essays include: Snapshots of the Rebbe on Davening and Shul, Teplach and Keplach: Keeping a Kosher Head, Chassidus is Meant to be Understood, and more.

The articles in Perspectives aren’t just interesting to read, they’re also so relevant to our current climate.
If we want to really grow as a community, we need to give thought to what we are doing.
What a thorough and well written article!
Thank you to all the people who make this.
This is such an important Magazine to have and read. It sets you on the true chassidishe path. I love the article on page 53 regarding saying a Maamer/ understanding Chassidus.
Keep up the vital work that you do!!
People need to start repeating Chassidus in a comprehensible way. Otherwise, people aren’t going to listen – just look at what happens in most shuls on Shabbos afternoon, at lchaims and bar mitzvahs. It is meant to be an uplifting experience, not a “chant” wit everyone waiting for it to end.
This Magazine serves me the best, better than any other one out there.
I use the content in my sermons at Chabad house, engage my guests at the Shabbos table. Its full of rich valuable content. Its ironic that its offered Free Of Charge!
Kol Hakavod!
I like this!
Keep them coming.
I read last shabbos.
