In response to inquiries by COLlive readers, Rashi Marcus of the Meaningful Life Center in New York issued the following update:
Thank G-d, we have gotten used to a steady flow of Rabbi Simon Jacobson’s inspiring teachings and weekly programs – including the MyLife broadcasts, the weekly Masterclass, the Tanya Applied radio show, the MeaningfuLives, the daily Ayin Beis class, to name a few.
In response to many of your recent requests, I want to share that due to a medical procedure Rabbi Jacobson’s programs were put on hold these past couple of weeks.
We want to personally thank you all for the abundant well wishes, beautiful blessings and for reaching out to inquire about the missed programs. Please know that each and every message is very much appreciated by Rabbi Jacobson and continues to give him a lot of strength.
We are expecting and looking forward to Rabbi Jacobson’s return – stronger than ever – and to resuming our programming schedule in the next few weeks.
Rabbi Jacobson would like to personally share that he continues to be in great spirits. He is confident that, in the words of the Rebbe in 1977, “On the contrary, all this will lead to even greater unprecedented outreach to really fulfill our grand mission of transforming the world with divine knowledge as the waters cover the sea.”
🙏

I will take this opportunity to thank you for everything you do for the community and really, the whole world. My perspective about many things has shifted in a good way after years of watching your shiur. Periodically I sift through the archives.
I love that my young children watch with me sometimes. We have interesting discussions based on the topics you address.
Hatzlacha with everything and I wish you an easy recovery. May you be blessed to continue spreading light in good health until 180!

Dear Rabbi Jacobson,
Your daily impact fills our hearts and renews us. We have become dependent on hearing your guidance and teachings of truth through your deep and loving soul. We are so grateful to HaShem for you. Please rest and be comforted. We are continually learning from your many resources and materials. Until your return to personal outreach, we send you support, strength, and rely on HaShem to restore you fully.
Thank you!
B”H’, so wonderful to hear that the Rabbi is on the mend. I was worried, we’ve had so many shake-ups already recently, and we really need you.
