A perpetrator was arrested early Wednesday morning following a phone snatching incident in Crown Heights.
The theft occurred at approximately 12:30 AM near Eastern Parkway and Albany Ave when the perpetrator snatched a phone from the victim.
Witnesses immediately contacted Crown Heights Shmira and Shomrim. Shmira members quickly located the suspect and secured the scene until NYPD officers arrived. Shomrim located the victim and escorted her to the scene, where following a brief investigation, the perpetrator was placed under arrest.
