A perpetrator was arrested on Sunday afternoon after he was wanted for smashing a car window and other thefts in Crown Heights.
On Sunday morning, the perpetrator was observed pulling multiple car handles but wasn’t successful in finding an open car. So he instead used a rock to bust open a window and then stole cash and valuables from the car. In addition to stealing a carriage from a private property on Friday morning, he was wanted for other crimes as well.
On Sunday afternoon, Shmira members responded to a call for an individual pulling car handles. It turned out to be the same perpetrator.
He was arrested shortly after by the NYPD.
