Hi Boys and Girls!
Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
In this week’s Parsha, Parshas Kedoshim, we learn a few fundamental Mitzvos. We learn about the Mitzvah of Tzedaka, respecting our parents, observing Shabbos, practicing honesty in business dealings, and finally, the importance of Ahavas Yisroel (loving our fellow). To truly practice Ahavas Yisroel, we must love and respect every Jew, regardless of their differences. We need to remember that we all have a special Neshama inside us, that is the same.
To help us remember this important lesson, let’s create a beautiful heart-shaped pillow using soft materials. We will trace out a heart shape, and use a unique tying technique, to bring both sides together. Get ready for a fun project!
