Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
This weeks’ Parsha includes the Mitzvah of Shiluach Haken: if you find a bird’s nest with eggs and want to take the eggs, you must first send away the mother bird. This Mitzvah teaches us to be compassionate and considerate, emphasizing the importance of respecting the feelings of all living creatures. What action can you take to make someone feel included or loved today?
After learning about the mitzvah of Shiluach Haken, we will be diving into the world of chocolate to create an edible chocolate nest and egg. In the video, we will demonstrate the step-by-step process of making a chocolate egg mold that contains a delightful surprise once cracked open. The art of creating an edible nest involves delicately crafting and molding chocolate-covered pretzels into a half dome, then setting it in the fridge to become an edible masterpiece. We are very excited to see how your chocolate nests turn out, so please don’t hesitate to share your creations with us! We are looking forward to seeing your masterpieces.
