Thousands attended The Great Lag BaOmer Parade in S. Paulo, Brazil featuring floats, marching bands and a grand carnival.
Hosting one of the many Great Parades, S. Paulo Brazil got to be part of a wordwide Lag Baomer experience like no other.
The Parade was conducted in front of one of the city’s impressive icons, the Pacaembu Stadium.
10 floats were presented, each bringing to life one of the Ten Commandments.
Tomchei Tmimim of S. Paulo presented a marching band from their own very talented bochurim. The parade also featured the official police band that played Jewish songs, acrobats, motorcycles, and a retro car in addition to the hundreds of students that marched together with the floats representing the Ten Commandments with themed dress.
After the formal parade all the children were invited to participate in a grand carnival that included rides, food, games and a grand dog show.
The Parade was organized by local Chabad Yeshiva director Rabbi Mendi Koncepolski in conjunction with all the local Batei Chabad.
