A moving ceremony of the reading of the Pan Hakloli was held this morning at the holy gravesite of the saintly Kabbalist, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the father of the Rebbe, 75 years after his passing.
The Pan was read by Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos, at the gravesite in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, in the presence of hundreds of Shluchim, Chassidim, Mashpiim and Jews from all over the world.
Before the gathering, special classes were held on the teachings of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok, taught by Rabbi Dovid Dubov and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kaplan. After Shacharis, the group traveled together to the gravesite.
During the day, the guests will attend Torah classes, lectures, and farbrengens in honor of the Tzadik who sacrificed his life for Torah study behind the Iron Curtain.
