Chanukah 5774 in Ellenville, NY was taken to new heights.
Close to 75 people attended an outdoor public menorah lighting, which was graced by a Mitzva tank, driven by Yeshiva students from Morristown, NJ.
The Shammash was lit by Police officer Richie Jabocs and the candles were lit by Ulster county Comptroller Elliott Auerbach.
The emotional lighting was led by Rabbi JJ Hecht II.
During Chanuka the Ellenville Jewish community hosted parties around town including old age homes and the Hebrew school.
