Matthew, yasher koach! Very impressive and I’m so proud to see what my former classmate accomplished. I am happy to direct people to your mikvah and may it bring brachos to many families (including your own).

What a religion! What a Mikvah!

I am continually delighted with Judaism’s ability to link every aspect of life to holiness and blessing. Our religion knows what the body and soul needs to live and blossom. The mikvah is in essence, a holy bath-room, with religious rules and regulations that apply to everyone in the community, regardless of their means and resources. Everyone can enter to clean their bodies thoroughly, under ritual times, with guidance and dignity, in a holy setting. Thank you Matthew and team for bringing this dream of a Mikvah to life. I’m shepping nachas because you are family!

“Orthodox and Chabad traditions differ on where these collection reservoirs must be located. Most Orthodox communities have the two collecting pools on the side of the mikvah, while Chabad communities have one underneath. The Malden mikvah meets the requirements of both groups. The reservoir beneath the mikvah has a Plexiglas cover so the waters can merge.
“This is symbolic of Malden,” said Goldberg’s wife, Ellen Zagorsky Goldberg. “The mikvah is part of the welcoming community of Malden.”

The Mikvah was built with the help of Mikvah USA together with Rabbi Katz. Their approach is to build a mikvah which is yotzei kol a hadeos, so their are boros on the side as well as below. The mikvah was also designed to help mkarev more women to the mitzvah of Taharas Mispacha, and so a lot effort and expense was made to make it appealing. We can say, B”H, that it has attracted many women from outside of our community as we had hoped.

How did the Rabbis of this shul come to the correct understanding that the Rebbe Rashab’s shita is the most halachically correct and complete shita? Kol hakavod to them for intellectual honesty and yiras shomayim.
