The Westboro Jewish Montessori Preschool recently held a Shofar factory for its young charges.
Rabbi Sender Gordon, Program Director of OTC Chabad, brought 5 different shofars, a drill and assorted equipment to teach the children about the significance of this mitzvah.
This workshop is part of the philosophy of the school to bring Judaism alive in a hands-on way.
One parent remarked, “it is remarkable how much Judaism my little preschooler brings back home and teaches his parents!”
Director Devora Caytak remarked that OTC’s holiday programs always add so much excitement to what the preschoolers are learning.
