As soon as Yom Tov ended and the horrific news about the attacks in Israel spread, organizers of last night’s Eastern Parkway gathering knew something had to be done to support the country of Israel, and the NYPD made it a reality.
Organizers of the event led by Rabbi Mendel Mintz, expressed tremendous Hakoros Hatov to Rabbi Chanina Sperlin of the CHJCC, the office of Mayor Eric Adams and Senior Advisor Joel Eisdorfer, Chief McEvoy of Brooklyn Borough South, all the executives in Brooklyn South, Inspector Joseph Hayward of the 71 Precinct, Lieutenant special Assignment Ira Jablonsky and Sgt Michael Baratta, for truly making the evening as memorable as possible.
“Brooklyn South, as always, went over and beyond for this event, and they truly are true partners and one with the community! Thank you Chief and Ira!” organizers said.
A special thank you to Shomrim, Shmira and Hatzalah for making the event possible well.

Amazing unity to get this done within one day! THANK YOU!
