Following a so many months laden with Limud Hatorah, the Kinderlach of Pre-1A of Ohr Menachem Cheder, under the guidance of their Mechanech, Rabbi Yitzchok Fuchs, have been learning Kriah and were finally ready to celebrate very special a milestone achievement this Sunday, 10 Sivan. They finally received their first Siddur in an elaborate ceremony!
The young Tinokos Shel Beis Raban, beaming with ‘Geon Yaakov’ -pride, recived their first siddur taking their first steps of commitment to a lifelong journey of Torah learning and Tefilla mitoch yiras shamayim.
The day began and they were warmly greeted like every morning by their Melamed, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Nemirovski, and Rabbi Levi Nemirovski. Today, the culmination of the Hachonos with their Melamed for davening with their first Siddur in Gan Eden Hoelyon.
Led by their Mechanchim, the students made their way to Beis Rabbeinu (770), where they participated in a heartfelt farbrengen with Rabbi Fuchs and Rabbi Nemirovski, before reciting their first tefilla in their new Siddurim in Gan Eden Hatachton. The Talmidim then descended to the main shul for a joyous Rikud (dance).
The festivities continued as they proceeded to the Eshel Hall, where the official celebration commenced. The atmosphere was electric with excitement as the chassanim of the Chagigas Siddur, the Pre-1A students, made their grand entrance.
the Menahel, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Yusewitz, the master of ceremonies, warmly welcomed the parents and guests to the ‘Mesibas Siddur’. Rabbi Fuchs bentched the kinderlach, Rabbi Nemirovski led them in a beautiful performance, 2 beautiful songs expressing the treasure they now posess – the Siddur!
They then recived birkas Habadatz from the Mara D’asra Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun who highlighted the Zechus to learn ‘Al Taharas Hakodesh’ and the power of their Tefillos to bring moshiach now!
The children then received Birkas Kohanim from the Menahel Hamosdos Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hakohen Hendel, followed by singing and dancing. Each student was presented with their very own Siddur and a special cake from their Melamed.
The vice principal rabbi Yossef Yitzchok Overlander then took to the podium. after thanking the hanala and staff, he gave the mic to each of the ‘Stars of the Event’ to lead the crowd of parents and grandparents in one of the 12 Pessukim that the Rebbe chose for Tzivos Hashem soldiers to continuously remember!
Rabbi Sholom Schapiro and Rabbi Eli Halevi Landa thanked the dedicated melamdim on behalf of the parents and gave each a special gift.
“The event is a testament to the dedication and tireless efforts of the Melamdim, Rabbi Yitzchok Fuchs and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Nemirovski, who have guided the Kinderlach on their journey thus far.”
Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz expressed his pride in the Talmidim, stating, “They are already davening and storming the heavens to bring the hisgalus of the Rebbe now!”
As the celebration came to a close, the Talmidim departed with beaming smiles, their hearts filled with joy and their minds inspired to continue their journey of Torah learning.
