The flourishing school, Cheder at the Ohel had a very successful Father and Son learning event this past Motzei Shabbos.
Over two hundred students and fathers, many of whom are Shluchim from all over the surrounding area attended the event that took place at the Ohel.
It was a warm Chassidishe atmosphere. Only a few hundred feet away from our dear Rebbeim – the children learning Torah with their fathers with smiles and chayus while the fathers were shepping nachas from their children.
The learning material was current school work that was thoughtfully prepared in advance for each class by the Rebbi’s and principal, Rabbi Pinchas Margolis.
There was a delectable variety of refreshments and beverages. The event was organized and sponsored by Cheder parents Mayer and Henny Preger.
A wonderful large assortment of pastries were sponsored by Gourmet Glatt of the 5 Towns as well. Every student received small prizes and delicious surprise treats. There was some fun trivia entertainment as well.
“It was really, really fun and exciting! There was a lot of learning and so much achdus,” exclaimed Cheder student Dovid Wolowik.
The crowd joyously sang niggunim, “Ashreinu” was sung by all with sincerity and gratefulness. The evening ended on a high note with a beautiful Baal Shem Tov story told by talented story teller and cheder father, Rabbi Yossi Mendelson. It was an event that was truly enjoyed by all!
B”H we are ecstatic having our boys at the Cheder. The caring devoted top notch experienced teachers, the incredible selfless Principal Rabbi Margolis and the harmonious blend of Shluchim’s children. There is an intensity of Achdus and Chassidishkeit unlike any I’ve seen. Our boys come home from school every day singing Niggunim, singing words of Torah and Tanya… There are countless programs encouraging Middos, Kindness, Learning, Respect… This is truly our dream come true!
We love this school, our boys are so happy here BH! They know how to make each child feel special!
