no its doesnt. you should learn how the election works. its not based on majority/popular vote but on the electoral college, and blue states like ny cali etc will be for the democrats. furthermore, democrats traditionally, not republicans, get money for the frum community. it sounds like you have no clue how american and new york politics work!

Bibi doing the exacet opposite of what he should've done
September 2, 2012 8:33 pm

Historically, Israeli Prime Ministers would strike first (1967, 1981, 2007)and then make nice with the US. Bibi has instead sat on his hands for 3 years and picked a fight with US

Alfred, have you forgotten that many Jewish senators and house members hate Israel more than Obama does?

Have you forgotten that Obama doesn’t make any decisions on any policy, domestic or foreign, but rather his right hand liberal self-hating communist Jew Mr David Oxlerod makes those decisions for him?

Agree with Outraged
September 2, 2012 6:43 pm

I agree with Outraged and I am not a BT or any other label you might want to pin on me. It is a mystery to me why otherwise seemingly intelligent people choose to believe everything the RW media feeds them, much of it colored by their perception of how Israel is being treated. I love Israel dearly and have spent a lot of time there amongst Israelis – not anglos – but it’s time for people to use their brains and think for themselves.

Outraged . . . One More Time
September 2, 2012 6:38 pm

Look. I agree 100% with you that something has to be done to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Do you really think any American President, no matter who it is, is going to sanction bombing any country unilaterally though? The situation with Iran must be, and will be, dealt with . . . regardless of who is elected. There’s no choice. It’s just a matter of how. Mitt Romney isn’t going to announce to the world that he sanctioned/aided an Israeli attack on Iran. Probably no American president would given the state of world affairs.

GO & Vote!!!!!
September 2, 2012 6:23 pm

do not sit at home and not vote! every vote counts. Vote for romney, let’s get our country on the right track.
GO AND VOTE IN NOV.. FOR ROMNEY

Before you flame me . . . I’m a frum Jew (now) affiliated with Chabad for over 20 years (really). I sent my kids to yeshivois, visit 770 when I can., etc. etc. I love my country and I have compassion for the people suffering here . . . as a matter of fact, I have have compassion for people suffering anywhere. As citizens of the US I don’t think we that we should advocate organizing the community to vote on one issue. Thank you for posting my comments.

vote for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 2, 2012 5:46 pm

I billy bob am running for president! thank you!

Outraged
September 2, 2012 5:10 pm

Wake up! You live in the United States. Are you going to base your vote solely on US policy towards Israel? There are millions of people suffering in this country. President Obama has done a good job helping the middle class and providing health coverage for people in need (which most of you take advantage of!). What exactly do you think we owe Israel? If you’re so concerned why do you live here??

Your Vote does count!

TO #9 - you are wrong
September 2, 2012 3:52 pm

The Republican party ( on state & national level ) keeps track of amounts of votes cast in each district. If the record shows that CH is all Democrats ( ie, if no one here votes for Romneyor the other Republican candidates ) then CH will have a much harder time getting funding from any Republicans that are in a position to help us financially or with programs. IOWs, every vote does count ….

Sorry. Most of your votes don't count
September 2, 2012 2:51 pm

Most frum Jews live in states where their votes will not count. The outcome of the elections in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Illinois and California has already been determined. As a a percentage of the population, the frum Jewish population in Ohio, Florida, Nevada, and Colorado is tiny, and will have no impact on the outcome. Cast your vote how you please, but understand that it largely does not count.

VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVE
September 2, 2012 2:32 pm

Our community council should begin making sure that every eligible voter is registered starting this TUESDAY & is then provided with transporataion to the polling places on Election Day. They should also be registering all of our girls / bochorim who come home for Tishrei but who will need absentee ballots because they will be away ( either working or learning ) in November. This is for the good of our community on many levels – can SOMEONE please make this happen ???

not taking this seriously
September 2, 2012 1:58 pm

the mere fact that so few people are responding here, shows how unimportant this entire thing is to the. BIG MISTAKE!

put on some yenteshe maaseh here and see how many tens of people respond. very scary and dishartening.

Please, Bibi has showed contempt to Obama because he is disrespectful of our allegiance with Israel. The Obama Administration and Obama himself are no friends of Israel, they have thrown Israel under the bus. If you werent planning on voting, please realize the opportunity you have… Obama can not be reelected, Israel needs a friend in America and Obama is not it.

Netanyahu Taking a Risk
September 2, 2012 11:51 am

Bibi has for the last 4 years and more so lately shown contempt towards the current US adminstration. In so doing so he has soured Isreal’s relationhip with the US. Indeed a Romney win will help but its unclear whether the damage caused over the last four years will be automaticlly repaired just becuase of a change in US govt. Clearely Bibi is gambling dangerously.

BARAK HUSAIN OBAMA MUST BE STOPED!
September 2, 2012 11:24 am

We Jews (all of us) must NOT vote for this man in the upcoming elections. We must all (liberals and consevatives) stop this man from being re elected, for ther sake of the Jewish People, America and the entire World.

WE MUST TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY AND PRAY TO HASHEM WITH UNEQUALED FERVER THAT HE HAVE RACHMONOS AND STOP THIS MAN FROM TAKING NIKOMOH ON THE JEWISH STATE AND ALL OF US.

to bad
September 2, 2012 11:11 am

hopefully he (obama) wont be reelected

DEMOCRATIC AGENDA
September 2, 2012 11:09 am

Unfortunately, there is no mystery as to the Deomocrat’s policies concerning Israel – using Jimmy Carter ( who was tossed out after only one term & has gone on to become the #1 fan of the phoney “palestinian cause” ) as a keynote speaker at their upcoming convention says it all.
