The possibility of having more effective education systematically available to children in our community exists. It will take time for both sides of this debate to reach more agreeable solutions, and the day will surely come. The words used in the letter above however, are in certain aspects misguided, and lacking well, my perspective. “New York City nonpublic schools have had immeasurable successes in educating their students and preparing them for life. they were going after everyone: Catholic schools, secular private schools, Montessori schools… They weren’t just going after yeshivas
