In these hard moments, as our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel are going through tremendous difficulties, I turn to Anash and Shluchim across the world to show solidarity and support for fellow Anash and Shluchim in Eretz Yisroel.
As you start your preparations for Shavuot, a Yom Tov typically celebrated in great festivity. I urge you to remember hundreds of your fellow Anash and Shluchim for whom preparing for a regular Shabbos is a tremendous difficulty, so much more so supplying appropriate Yom Tov meals for their families is beyond their capabilities.
The Adopt A Family fund is determined to do all that we can to ensure that all families of Anash and Shluchim in Israel that turn to us will have all they need for Yom Tov.
Unfortunately, this task is much greater than you can imagine. Due to rapidly rising food prices and a hard year, more and more are falling below the poverty level, and stand a big chance of shamefully coming to an empty Yom Tov table.
In the merit of your generosity, may you and your family be healthy and strong, and enjoy an abundance of Parnasa. And may we all merit to see the immediate coming of Moshiach!
