Only 2 hours left. Help us cross the finish line. Help us help them.
There’s a moment in life that should be filled with pure joy — the arrival of a new baby. A time to celebrate, to build a home, to begin a new chapter.
But for many families in our community, that beautiful moment is also filled with quiet stress.
How will we afford a crib? A dresser? A changing table?
That’s where my parents come in.
Since our sister Alta Mina Tiechtel obm passed away at just 7 years old, my parents have devoted themselves quietly and consistently to helping families at this exact moment. They provide full sets of baby furniture to anyone who needs. They don’t ask questions, they just give.
No nonprofit. No staff. No outside funding. Just two people doing real chesed from their own home for years.
They’ve helped Kollel couples, newlyweds, families going through hard times, and people from every corner of the community — each one trying to raise their children with dignity, even when times are tight.
As their children, we’ve watched this with awe. We’ve helped carry cribs up stairs and load mattresses into cars. We’ve seen the gratitude, the relief, and sometimes the tears. And now we want to help them keep going.
We launched a campaign to raise $40,000 so they can continue this holy work.
With just 2 hours left, we are $9,000 short.
This isn’t a matching campaign. It’s a real, grassroots effort, and the impact is direct right here in Crown Heights.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of quiet, powerful, real kindness, this is it.
Please give what you can. Share if you can. Let’s help them help others.
