why are all the mesivtas and zals alike in that they cater to the top boy?. where’s the mesivta and zal for the good boy but average or slightly below average intelligence?

Maybe the reason we lack chassidishe bachurim is because we disdain “old men teachers.” In Likutei Dibburim the Rebbe Rayatz extols learning from “old Chassidim.” Who does that anymore? It’s out with the old and in with the new.

What an amazing person. We had him as a maggid shiur in New Haven and really enjoyed the learning. Rabbi Yudie thanks for everything and the bochurim there are real lucky.

You want a Jr. Masivta? Go to monsey 8th grade.
The Rebbi of that class (Rabbi Sobal) was a vary vary good teacher in shir aleph Mesivta, then they moved him. He is a chasidishe yunger man who is loved by his students! (Rare for 8th grade 🙂 If we replace some of our old men teachers with fresh yung men who will treat there kids like there in misivtah – then we will have chasidishe bucherim!

Moshiach Now.

You don’t seem to be familiar with the Litvishe world where there are NUMEROUS small yeshivos in addition to the big ones.

Cheder Chabad of Monsey!
June 13, 2011 11:53 am

Once the Cheder Chabad of Monsey established their Preschool and elementary school, the community experienced it’s most rapid increase of Chabad families. Now that they are a Preschool through Grade 8 school, serving both the girls and boys populations, they continuously need support (very high rent, payroll, etc… )

The Cheder and the High Schools and the Zal can truly create a thriving resource in of Chassidishe Chinuch in Monsey, that we can proudly bring to Yerushalayim with Moshiach Tzidkeinu, BBM!

great

I agree with #4
Monsey is growing and is going to become the 2nd Lub comminity in the world

A true legend

Rabbi Weber is one of the few Menahel that exist today that would give his entire life over to his Talmidim. His selfless devotion is unmatched by any other, and his love for his buchorim is unparalleled. May this new page be a source of Nachas Ruach to the Rebbe, and my there be only good news for Rabbi Webber in the future, a faithful Talmid

It is very good to have these different Lubavitch Yishivos opining up. This way our Buchrim have a number of choices where to go, depending on how good the Yishivah is.

It also makes sure the other Yishivos staff want to do a better job in their Yishivos if they want to attract the Buchrim.

I think it’s very good that these new Yishivah’s are opening.

we could use a jr. mesivta
a separate yeshiva for grades 6-8 preparing boys for bar mitzva to become chasidishe bochurim

support
June 13, 2011 3:49 am

We cant support opening new yeshivas each year. it is not economical. In the litvisher world they have big yeshivas with more than 100 bochurim and they do it well. in lubavitch everyone has to be their own rosh yeshiva.
