Worked in this neighborhood many years ago when it was the most crime-ridden in NYC. Normally I’d be amazed at it’s reclamation, however nothing that Lubavitch accomplishes with their tremendous gevurah surprises me. Yasher Koach.

Nice

So only the inhabitants of the neighborhood of Brownsville will not be saying Tachnun on that day. (This obviosly does NOT include other neighboorhoods in Brooklyn like Willimsburg, Crown Heights, Borough Park etc.)

Way to go Levi Vogel!!

Keep up the phenomenal hard work you do Levi Vogel and everyone else who’s involved!!
This is so special!! My grandparents lived in Brownsville over 60 years ago however many Jews left over the years…. And now Lubavitchers have moved back in….. Now they have an ongoing Shabbos minyan but they also have weekly ongoing shiurim… And now the Hachnosas Sefer Torah will definitely be an amazing event that everyone should make an effort to attend…..
We are iyh looking forward to this coming Sunday’s event!
Keep up the excellent work!!
We are very proud of you!!
