Beautiful, inspirational, heart-warming. As I heard this song tears rolled down my face. I haven’t felt so moved in a long time. Hearing young chidren, born after gimmel tammuz, with such pride, sense of commitment and belonging, tmimusdik, singing about their feelings and knowledge to the rebbe and his house, the house his chasidim, the house of lubavitch, it empowers me, it revives me, it reenlivens me. Has the song writer(s) consult a Rov, (Proper Mashpia), and insure that this is indeed a very impotant point to infuse into the minds (and hearts) of young children. Is it indeed the righ thing to spend huge amounts of money to go to ‘The Rebbe or TIshrei” (money that their parents can most probably use for better purposes) ?? Is Crown Heights in fact the right atmosphere for (especially) out of town children, specifically in Tishrei (V’dy La’meivin) ?? Very valid questions!! There is a kuntres called ‘Beis Rafinu Shbibavel’ That would be a good starting point in learning about the holiness of 770, notwithstanding the color wars that are going on there. And nothing has changed in the sense that the Rebbe is still with us. If Chas Vesholom otherwise, the whole shlichus should stop or its time for a new Rebbe. We cant have a dead Rebbe. It wont work. 2. Why do we keep on insisting ‘nothing has changed’? What is the problem if we acknowledge things have changed but our work and our job (bring moshiach…) has not changed?
