Rabbi Yisrael and Shulamis Bennish will be moving on Shlichus to Asheville, NC.
Asheville is the largest city in Western North Carolina, and the 11th largest city in North Carolina.
The couple’s focus will be to increase the reach of Chabad activities within the local Jewish community of 5,000 Jews.
They will expand Adult education, direct youth and teen programs as well as reach out to Jews spread out across the entire western North Carolina, broadening the outreach activities of Rabbi Shaya and Chana Susskind.
The new shluchim, who will arrive after the Tishrei month, were appointed by Rabbi and Mrs. Shaya Susskind.
