Rabbi Levi and Shaina Gurevitz were announced as the new Shluchim to Winston-Salem, a city in and the county seat of Forsyth County in North Carolina.
Together with their 2 children, they will be serving the Jewish population in the city that has seen a surge in growth and revitalization in the downtown area with hotels, restaurants, and apartments under construction.
Rabbi and Mrs. Gurevitz (nee Rapoport) will also be servicing the needs of the Jewish students at Wake Forest University, a private research university in Winston-Salem, north of Raleigh.
They were appointed by Rabbi Yossi Groner, Head Shliach of the Carolinas.
