Rabbi Yaakov Yosef and Chaya Raskin have recently moved with their 2 children to Huntington Village, Long Island, where they will serve as Shluchim.
The Raskins will be providing for the spiritual needs of Huntington Village, a quaint town on the north shore of Long Island. They will be directing programs such as Shabbat meals and Minyan, Friendship Circle, weekly classes, weekly hospital visitation and private Chavrusos.
Since their move a few months ago, the couple has affected hundreds of families in the community from all demographics.
The Raskins have hosted the area’s first High holiday services, as well as over 150 people, mainly families with children, for a Menorah workshop.
The Raskins were appointed by Shluchim Rabbi and Mrs. Asher Vaisfiche who direct the Melville Chabad Center.
