Rabbi Levi and Sheina Cunin (nee Chincholker) are new Chabad Shluchim joining the team of Shluchim at Indiana University.
The Cunins will be moving out to Bloomington, IN, to work on developing and growing the programming at Indiana University.
The new Shluchim have been hired by Rabbi Yehoshua and Mrs. Zlata Chincholker, who have been serving the vibrant Jewish student body for the past 29 years, and Rabbi Avrohom and Nini Grossbaum, Head Shluchim of Indiana.
“We look forward to being a part of the Rebbe’s vision of bringing Judaism to the 4,000+ Jewish students studying at IU and instilling a great and proud Jewish presence on campus,” says Rabbi Cunin. “Being that both of us grew up on campuses – we feel we have an automatic advantage of being able to know how student life works and to best cater to their needs.”
Indiana University is ranked in the top 30 of the biggest schools in the US and has a total enrollment of 43,000. Students are attracted to the school for their world renowned music program – the Jacobs School of Music and the Kelley School of Business among the many programs they offer. IU is also one of the nation’s top college sports towns, their teams are notorious competitors in the NCAA Division, Big Ten Conference.
The new Shluchim are raising funds to support their work. Click here to donate.
