A young and vibrant Chabad couple is expected to move into a suburb of the San Francisco Bay area of California.
Rabbi Levi and Ella Potash will be moving on Shlichus to serve the Jewish community in Redwood City and Woodside.
Ella is the daughter of Rabbi Yosef and Devorah Loschak, Directors of Chabad of S. Barbara, CA. She watched and took an active role in the growth of her family’s activities which include 2 facilities, 3 Rabbis and numerous programs.
London-born Levi had his own share in Jewish activism as he studied in Lubavitch Yeshivos and spent summer months in camps and small communities.
Their plan for their work on the West Coast is to establish a new Chabad House serving the local Jewish community.
“There are over 5000 Jews in the area,” Rabbi Potash told COLlive.
They were appointed by Rabbi Baruch Cunin, Head Shliach to CA, with the coordination of Rabbi Yossi Cunin, Rabbi Yosef Levin and the Shluchim Office.
