Rabbi Eliahu Nochum and Chaya Mushke Eilfort (nee Weiss), together with their son Dovid, will be moving to Encinitas, California before the start of the new school year and High Holidays.
The Eilforts will be moving to Encinitas to start a new Jewish community. Chaya and Elia both grew up on Shlichus, (Chaya in Miami Lakes, FL and Elia in Carlsbad, CA) and have developed a passion and excitement for hafotzas hamaayonos and the Rebbe’s mivtzoyim.
Encinitas has long been served by the neighboring shluchim in Carlsbad, but due to the increasing Jewish population, the Eilforts will be filling a need for classes, programs, and services especially geared to the area.
The young couple have said that they look forward to moving on the Rebbe’s shlichus and hope that they can change a city with a largely unaffiliated Jewish population to a thriving and lively, proud Jewish community.
Rabbi and Mrs. Eilfort are currently looking for investors to partner with them in establishing this new Chabad institution. Those who would like to make a monthly contribution, or a one time gift, are encouraged to click here.
