Kingston ‘Hair Lounge’ Reopens

A wig and hair salon that has been a popular spot on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights for the past 7 years has an updated look and expanded services.

Entrepreneur Sara Abikasis started out as a partner in the original Scissor Palace, offering wig styling and services to Crown Heights locals and the many visitors to the central Chabad neighborhood throughout the year.

Soon gaining a loyal following for her professional wig cutting, coloring and styling, Abikasis recently bought out her partners and updated and renovated the existing location at 370 Kingston Avenue.

Now called The Hair Lounge and with an upbeat, trendy vibe, Abikasis looks forward to providing services to new and existing customers.

She has also recently created her own line of beautiful unprocessed custom hair wigs, which she manufactures and guarantees for their quality and durability.

At a recent reopening party, Abikasis introduced the new line of natural-looking wigs of all colors, textures and styles, which customers are “already raving about,” she says.

The salon’s basement hosts the workshop for Ronni Amishay‘s Nifty Nogginz company, a selection of colorful and creatively decorated wig stands to match any home décor.

The Hair Lounge also employs a team for expert wig coloring services, as well as cutting and styling.

“I am looking forward to welcoming my customers to experience our amazing customer service in our newly renovated location,” she says.
