A public Menorah lighting took place Sunday hosted by Chabad of Pratt Institute and Clinton Hill, led by Rabbi Yossi and Chaya Eliav, at Myrtle Plaza across from the Chabad center.
The ceremony attracted over 250 people including local community members, children, students from Pratt Institute, activists, and police executives.
Many prizes were raffled off to the children. The prizes were generously provided by Toys for Hospitalized Children under the auspices of NCFJE.
Rabbi Simcha Weinstein, founder and senior Rabbi of the organization, was honored with lighting the Menorah.
