Rabbi Moshe Fuss and his wife Chaya (nee Landes), will be moving to Fremont, California, along with their daughter Shaina as the new Chabad Shluchim in the area.
In fact, they will be opening the 40th Chabad center in Northern California.
Fremont is a developing city that was incorporated in 1956 from the merger of five smaller communities. It does not have an Orthodox Jewish presence.
The Fusses will be moving immediately after Sukkos and plan to start working right away, they told COLlive.com.
Among their plans are weekly Shabbos Services and meals in their home, holiday awareness programs for a variety of ages and visits to hospitals and medical centers to infuse the city with Yiddishkeit.
The Fusses have been appointed by Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, the head Shliach of California. They thanked the surrounding Shluchim for their invaluable advice and to Rabbi Yossi Cunin for all his help.
