For the first time in decades, a men’s mikvah is being built for the Chabad community in New Haven, Connecticut, USA, and the work on it has already begun.
It will be housed in the Jewish Israeli Center of New Haven, directed by Rabbi Eli and Rochel Raskin.
It is being donated by Eliyahu Pinchas Zohar in memory of his brother Rafael Zohar OBM.
The mikvah is being constructed under the guidance of mikvah expert Rabbi Gershon Grossbaum of Minnesota, and Rabbi Zalman Kessler of New Haven.

Wow!
The work that Rabbi Eli and Rochele Raskin do is fantastic, they are amazing! The New Haven community is really lucky to have them there. They are a real asset.
Are there any halachic parameters for a men’s mikva ( size, water, etc)?
That have the same law but since it is not a mitzvah they usually are not as strict with maintenance etc
A kosher mikvah is a kosher mikvah.
Men don’t need a kosher mikvah and there’s no halacha for men to go to mikvah.
But if you’re building one, you make it kosher.
impressive.
Such amazing work you guys are doing, and for the greater New Haven community. Couldn’t be more proud of you guys!
