When the Rebbe came out with the idea of the 12 pesukim in the sicha of א׳ אייר, תשל״ו, the emphasis was that they should be understood and explained to the children.
This new album, entitled, “Let’s Sing the 12 Pesukim” accomplishes just that.
Each posuk is sung with a brief explanation to the tune of a niggun. In this vain, simply by playing this first-of-a-kind album, children and adults alike will be able to able to finally allow the Rebbe’s vision to come to fruition: Having the 12 pesukim understood and ingrained in our minds.
The lyrics are simple and catchy, making them easy to understand and remember. Sung by young boys, this is a wonderful asset for homes, schools, day camps and rallies. The album also features a bonus track with a shortened version of all 12 pesukim in one melody song.
The album was produced by Chani Zirkind and Shayna Altein, and created to help fulfill the Rebbe’s wish of saying the 12 pesukim every day.
