Over the past five years, Neshamos has received countless calls worldwide from individuals seeking therapists, referrals, or simply a listening ear to share their struggles.
However, one request always left us wishing we could do more: “Do you have a fund to help me cover my therapy expenses?”
This year, that changes.
When last year ‘s answer was: “We wish!”
This year’s answer is : “Apply to the Yerucham Legacy fund.”
This Yom Tov marks one year since Yerucham Katz’s obm passing. Yerucham Mordechai Katz, a beloved husband and father of 3, tragically left this world one year ago after battling lung cancer. A man of profound kindness, Yerucham was always there to lend a helping hand, and he cared deeply for others. His sincerity and genuine kindness radiated from his eyes.
In today’s world, it’s likely that you know someone who silently battles emotional or mental challenges, even if these struggles remain hidden to the naked eye.
Emotional pain is often invisible.
Anxiety remains hidden.
Thoughts of suicide may go unnoticed.
The suffering may be invisible to you, but the pain is profound and runs deep. We understand that mental health issues exist and must be addressed. Yet, the challenge persists: therapy is often prohibitively expensive, leaving many without access to the care they so desperately need.
If Yerucham were with us today, he would surely want to help in any way he could.
In his everlasting memory, Neshamos is thrilled to now offer this opportunity to you to be the light in someone’s life when everything else may look dark.
This Yom Tov, to carry Yerucham’s legacy, we turn to you. Let’s work together to build healthier, more resilient, and integrated communities.
Please donate,
and your contribution will go directly to our comprehensive therapy fund. With Hashem’s help, starting October 15th, the fund will be open and ready to accept applications. To learn more about this program, please visit our website, www.Neshamos.org

I really am so happy that there is going to be such an organization for people who need this. Truly if yerucham was alive he truly would be the go getter.
By not charging such exorbitant fees
Huge Zechus! Yasher Koach!
Wishing neshamos tremendous hatzlacha in this initiative
