The neighborhood of Nachalas Har Chabad in Israel celebrated the completion and dedication of a new Torah scroll in memory of the late Rabbi Meir Lerer obm and Rabbi Moshe Naparstek obm.
Hundreds of the neighborhood’s residents participants joined in the grand celebration, the likes of which were long not seen in the Nachalas Har Chabad neighborhood.
The evening began with the writing of letters by guests, friends, and family at the home of Yossi and Nechami Lerer, who donated the Torah in memory of their parents, Rabbi Meir Lerer and Rabbi Moshe Naparstek. From there, a grand procession led the Torah, accompanied by torches, joyful music, and dancing all the way to the central synagogue of the neighborhood.
The procession made a special stop at the home of the town’s Mara D’asrah, Rabbi Yitzchok Yehuda Yaruslavsky, who also came out to accompany them.
Upon entering the Shul, lit up in honor of the occasion, children of Tzivos Hashem awaited with drums and music to greet the new Torah, along with the Shul’s existing Torahs, led by the Torah sent by the Rebbe to the community over fifty years ago.
The entire neighborhood was illuminated with light, and even the main street’s Menorah was lit in honor of the event. Amidst joy and true unity, joyous Hakafos were held led by Rabbi Avraham Kanelsky, with music by Leibele Lipsker. As is customary at the end of the Hakafos, a grand festive meal was held, led by Rabbi Aharon Levi. Speeches were given by the Mayor, Mr. Eliyahu Zohar, the head of the Vaad Rabbi Yitzchak Blizinsky, Rabbi Shlomo Fleishman, Rabbi Eliyahu Wilhelm, and other individuals who brought memories of the unforgettable influence of Rabbi Moshe Naparstek and Rabbi Meir Lerer.
The emotional and special evening concluded with a Chassidishe Farbrengen that lasted until midnight.

So incredible and beautiful!
