Crown Heights Shmira and the NYPD responded to five separate incidents Wednesday night, resulting in three arrests and one ongoing investigation.
Store Owner Assault
At approximately 5:30 PM, a store owner was assaulted and injured by a disgruntled customer near Fulton Street and Nostrand Avenue. The perpetrator immediately fled the scene and a police report was filed. Crown Heights Shmira is assisting with apprehending the suspect.
Random Assault
At approximately 9:45 PM, a woman was walking to her car near East NY Avenue and Kingston Avenue when a Hispanic male wearing a red hoodie and man bun randomly shoved her without saying anything. The perpetrator also chased a second victim. Crown Heights Shmira searched extensively for the suspect, but he had already fled the area. A police report was filed.
Attempted Stabbing at 770
At approximately 11:00 PM, a homeless male attempted to forcibly gain entry into 770. When questioned, he suddenly pulled out a sharp object and attempted to stab nearby bystanders. No one was injured. Police officers and Crown Heights Shmira members detained him and he was arrested.
Knife Threat
At approximately 11:15 PM, Crown Heights Shmira received a call regarding an emotionally disturbed male who displayed a knife to two teenage girls after following and harassing them near Empire Boulevard and Albany Avenue. Shmira members located him and the NYPD arrested him.
Package Theft
At approximately 11:30 PM, Crown Heights Shmira responded to a known package thief who returned to the same property she had stolen from previously near Utica Avenue and Lincoln Place. She was located and arrested.

Why is crown heights such a jungle filled with such low class dangerous not civilised people?
We are surrounded by the shelters. Mentally ill individuals must to be in the locked facilities till they are not dangerous and more healthy, but we don’t have laws and maybe funds.
I don’t know why they closed the hospital instead of converting it fully for the menthal health .

Crown Heights has been having a problem with increasing crime for quite some time already, but it appears criminal activity is being really ramped up along with antisemitism. Also nothing is being accomplished to stop homeless hotels etc from being built in the neighborhood. Well if this continues this is just a preview of many more things to come unfortunately.
