Mrs. Tzivia Moscowitz of Chicago, matriarch of a Chabad family and icon of the Chicago Chabad community, passed away on 16 Cheshvan, 5782.
She is survived by her husband Rabbi Efraim Moscowitz and children Rabbi Moshe Moscowitz – Chicago, IL; Eli Moscowitz and Rabbi Mendel Moscowitz – Chicago, IL.
She was predeceased by her son Rabbi Daniel Moscowitz obm.
The Levaya will take place today, Sunday at 2 pm at Waldheim Cemetery 1400 South Des Plaines Avenue, Forest Park.
Shiva will be at the Moscowitz home – 7061 North Kedzie Avenue, Unit 416.

Mrs Moscowitz was a refined and elegant Chassidic wife, mother , grandmother and great grandmother. When we first sent our daughter Rivka to LGHS, many moons ago, we came to visit her and we needed a place to stay. She offered to host us with great warmth and in a very welcoming way She was an extremely gracious hostess and balabusta. She was very proud of her children and she took great pride in having her home very beautiful and very comfortable for guests. She was also a very interesting person to speak to. Mrs Moscowitz passed away one day after turning 92
Mrs. Moskowitz was an active participant in our zoom Tuesday and Thursday Tanya class with Rabbi Berkowitz. On the day of her birthday, last week she gave us all so many brochos. She will be missed so much. Moshiach Now!
