In a newly invigorated effort to feed Crown Heights families, now dedicated as a new fund in memory of her beloved husband, Herschel Scheiner obm, Mrs. Devorah Scheiner has launched her campaign for Tishrei 5781.
As always, hundreds of Crown Heights families will receive chickens and fish as well as other important items for their Yom Tov tables.
“Many organizations have begun distributing food packages,” said Mrs. Scheiner, “but unfortunately the need is greater than ever, and families continue to count on our help to get through the Yomim Tovim.”
