Baruch dayan haemes: Mrs. Tzippoh Rochel Krinsky, a devoted mother and grandmother to many, passed away on Thursday, Tammuz 26 5771.
She was 87.
Rhoda Rafer was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. She worked for Yeshivah Achei Temimim, one of the first Chabad day schools in the United States which is run by veteran Shliach Rabbi Hershel Fogelman.
She married R’ Velvel Krinsky and moved some 40 years ago to Melbourne where he was active in religious affairs in the capacity of a Schochet, Mohel and Chazzan.
“She was very staunch in her yiddishkeit and commitment to the Rebbe,” a family member told COLlive.com.
“She was very caring and devoted to her family and was very supportive of the mosdos and Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Groner, the Head Shliach of Melbourne.”
Her husband passed away in November 2008.
She is survived by her children Mrs. Chaya Raisel Glick, Melbourne; R’ Hershel Krinsky, Crown Heights; R’ Avremel Krinsky, Melbourne; R’ Dovid Krinsky, Sydney; Mrs. Fraida Teitelbaum, Montreal, Canada; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
LEVAYA & SHIVA
The Levaya will take place in Australia on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Melbourne Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, Browns Road, Springvale.
The family in Australia will be sitting Shivah at 503 Inkerman Road, Balaclava (Cnr Sidwell).
