Mrs. Rachael Silman, a longtime member of the S. Paul, Minnesota Lubavitch community and most recently of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Monday, 13 Cheshvan, 5780.
She was 96.
Her husband, HaRav Moshe Dovber Silman, who had smicha from Rav Moshe Feinstein, was a Rov in Duluth, Minnesota for 25 years until his passing in 1972.
Mrs. Silman continued living in Minnesota and became involved in the Chabad community in S. Paul, raising her family and helping the Lubavitch community there.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren are shluchim around the world including Ukraine, Australia, South Africa and the United States.
She is survived by her children, Yaakov Eliezer Silman, New York, Malka Weintraub, Baltimore, Maryland, Shimon Silman, Crown Heights, Judy Silman-Greenspan, S. Paul, Minnesota, Naomi Zirkind, Baltimore, Maryland, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Aron will pass by 770 on the way to Eretz Yisroel on Tuesday at 10:45 am.

BDE. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your mother. She will sorely be missed. I remember her so well while I was growing up in Minnesota. May you all only have Simchas from now on.
