Mrs. Miriam Feldman, wife of longtime Crown Heights physician Dr. Moshe Feldman, passed away on Tuesday, 22 Teves, 5781.
She was 78.
Mrs. Feldman was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who graciously sacrificed her life, allowing her husband to care for the community, no matter the time or day.
She was a tzadekes in the true sense of the word, an incredible example – dugma chaya – for all to learn from. She exemplified Tznius, not only in her dress, but in her refined speech as well.
She was also zoche to be a part of the Vaad Hamesader for the women’s line for dollars from the Rebbe. She had a love for 770, always walking to shul and davening there every Shabbos and Yomim Tovim.
At 770, many witnessed how she would move over to allow the Tishrei guests into her seat, even though it was not comfortable for her.
Mrs. Feldman always had an open home, which was always filled with the guests of the Rebbe, simchas and shiurim.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Moshe Feldman, and children, Sorah Shemtov – Riverdale, NY, Dovid Feldman – Crown Heights, Chanan Feldman – Crown Heights and Rivky Nussbaum – Monsey, NY.
She is also survived by her sister Cynthia.
She was predeceased by her son Yitzchok Gedalia Feldman obm, who passed away 3 weeks ago.
The levaya will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, passing by 770 at 1:00 PM.
To help prevent COVID-19 there will be no formal public shiva.
Family requests anybody with memories of Miriam Feldman to please share them at [email protected] .
