I have such sweet childhood memories of her Shabbos parties and she always expressed such interest in my life whenever I visited. She will be missed.

Wasn’t mentioned yet she was an unbelievable. Mechanaches. And teacher she was behind the program of the alter Mina Yiddish class and guided and worked with the teachers (myself amongst them and even created beutiful worksheets and songs
It would be great if theses can be unlisted in her memory!!
Great loss to her students she treated like her real children!!
May her memory be a blessing and may r Yisroel and rochel be comforted

Reb Yisroel's Talmid
November 10, 2014 9:36 pm

As a Talmid of Reb Yisroel, I can attest to the fact that his Rebbetzin was his back bone of support which allowed him to be completely devoted to his Talmidim. Reb Yisroel is a Rosh Yeshiva, Mechanech, Madrich……

May Hashem give you the kochos to carry on, and you should get all the support needed to carry on being Reb Yisroel!

R' Yankel Gurkovs Daughter
November 10, 2014 6:25 pm

The Lubavitch Shul in the 50’s was in her Parents house on Cazenove Road and vividly recall going there as a child before it moved to Stamford Hill.
R’ Meir was her Zaida, R’ Yankel her father.
When R’ Yisroel Aryeh Leib the Rebbes Brother was nifter, his oron was brought there too.
Is there a number to contact all the siblings sitting shiva on?

Mrs. Friedman was a wise woman who was very modest and into doing what is right. May the Aibershter bring Rabbi Friedman and Rochel the true Nechama of Moshiach Now.
