Boruch dayan haEmes. She was a good friend to so many. She is missed.
I remember when Chana Leah came to Crown Heights with her son. She always had a bright smile and a kind word. I haven’t seen her in many years but I will always cherish the great memories of her from the days before I moved to London!
To her son, May you and your family only know of simchas!
she took me on mivtzoim when i was young, very nice lady, bde
bdh soo sad!!
The kindness done to me by Yisroel Duato was obviously a reflection of his mother’s ahavas yisroel. BDE. I’m am so sorry for your loss.
She transformed herself from a 60’s radical to a frum chassidishe woman. It took tremendous efforts on her part and she succeeded in becoming a beloved member of the CH community.

Chana Leah…you will be missed. My special memory is at my wedding when you hugged me and danced with me and was sooo happy for me.
She was such an amazing woman. I remember, as a young girl, being in 770, she would sit with us, and learn with us and listening during Farbregen what Mrs. Jacobson was saying. What did she pass away from?
