No one knows how Mrs. Wirceberg would make it a point to visit lonely people who just needed a friend. BE A FRIEND TO SOME ONE IN NEED in her memory.

Alessa was a warm, genuine person who served her Maker and gave nachas to the Rebbe. Her family is a strong, loving one. May they take comfort from knowing that their mother was recognized as a very special woman by many people. BDE.

Rabbi Wircberg has had a most positive influence in my life. We know that we can share credit with her for her husband’s influence. She was also a very positive influence. I spoke with her on the phone. Very strong, very full of emuna and bitachon.

41 years ago I was instructed by The Rebbe to put together a book with compositions that young girls wrote about how they love to Bentch Licht. We were suddenly given a deadline and had to be finished by Erev Shabbos Hagodel. The printer said he would do it if we bring it to him by Sunday Morning. Needless to say, we worked through the night of Motzoei Shabbos and at about 5 a.m., Michoel Muchnick,(in whose home we were working), realized that we need one more composition to fill a certain page. But, it was not typeset! He said… Read more »

I went to the mikvah for the first time after my wedding on a Friday night in the summer. At some point in the meal, it dawned on me that I was wearing my contact lenses, and did not remove them to toivel. I walked to the Rav’s house, who paskend that I would need to toivel again. Mrs. Wirceberg graciously left her family and guest to open the mikvah for me on a late summer Friday night. I will never forget that night!

Alessa used to type for me as needed. she was the epitome of a conscientious worker who worked long and hard moonlighting beyond her regular job in order to supplement parnassah for her family. she was very self effacing and i never heard a complaint about this from her. she was a truly admirable wife, mother, and ovaid Hashem.
