When visiting in NY, I remember him as a sweet welcoming caring Jew. I am more than sure that those who met with him more often have a lot of appreciation for such a caring Jewish man.

A real tzadik has been lost
Never have I met more humble and modest successful visionary!
The community has lost someone special. Sad day.
A truly great and very humble man
A truly great and humble man, a caring person, always gave and a stong believer in hashems greatness. Will be missed
One of the most incredible visionaries, yet always so humble. Always went out of his comfort zone to give to Tzedakah to anyone that asked.
We will miss him so much.
