Eli was my partner for the last 21 years. He was the most humble person with whom I ever interacted, a HUGE Baal chesed who lived to do kind deeds. He pursued peace always and ALWAYS focussed on the sensitivities of others. A real gentle giant, he will be sorely missed.

Seems that string of kindness and sensitivity runs through siblings. His sister Chani in montreal is an incredibly honest, kind and Balass chesed individual.
May she know no more sorrow.
Eli helped many people with monthly checks in a quiet way. Big loss for our community
His children are very great Torah scholars
Yes, he was the construction manager in camp and his brothers worked in the kitchen. Such fine people always looking to help someone in need.
יחי זכרו ברוך
Back in the early days when the maple street shul was struggling with getting a minyon Eli would daven there to help out, I was a little kid then, and I remember looking at him like he was a giant, but a kind giant.
