In a community where mothers play such a vital and honorable role, we as a community naturally want to support them in all ways possible. Whether it’s a woman on her journey towards motherhood, a Kimpatorin postpartum, or a mother of young children, every woman should have access to resources, support, and social-networking.
That’s where Mothers of Crown Heights comes in.
MothersofCrownHeights.org provides a hub of information, resources, and links for women to use at their dispense – everything ranging from lists of providers to gemachs, kids playgroups, and more. There is no stone left unturned with the variety and amount of information on the website.
More recently, Miriam’s Motherhood Center opened its doors, bringing the level of community and support to the next level. The center is a space where women can connect with each other, attend educational workshops, get work done, all in a space made just for them and their growth. With a toddler playroom, studio, lounge, and shared office, there is something for everyone.
This Tu B’shvat we turn to you to help us continue being there for our community. Mothers of Crown Heights is holding a fundraiser, ‘Ladies First,’ so that we can continue to provide this fundamental support for our community. With a goal of $150,000, this campaign will help us cover 75% of our annual budget. Every dollar counts; help us help our mothers!

Help a mother and you help the entire family. A mother needs time for herself in order to have strength to keep giving to her family’s needs.
This is a wonderful organization. I experienced it firsthand.
Thank you!!!
