A row of white paper hung at Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch in Montreal, Canada, announced a new initiative for the local Chabad community.
The Rebbe’s published teachings was divided into parts and written down for Chassidim and bochurim to take upon themselves to learn.
The initiative is being done in honor of Yud Shvat, the 70th anniversary of the Rebbe becoming the 7th Rebbe of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement in 5710.
Those joining have until the 10th of Shvat to complete the study portion they signed up for – among the 39 volumes of Likutei Sichos, 12 volumes of Sefer Hasichos and 6 volumes of Maamarim Melukatim.
This project, among the many being implemented in Chabad communities around the world, is open for people of all ages and seen as a gift to the Rebbe.
