Homeopathy Has Never Been Proven
July 17, 2018 2:13 pm

My point still stands, if you can find any legitimate studies outside the field of homeopathy that support your statements, I can reconsider. A homeopathic website is most obviously not evidence enough. I’ve written my comments with full knowledge of the basic theory of homeopathy, however that theory must be proven objectively. It never was, and there is no scientific basis for this “energy” of which you speak, it sounds hocus pocus and that’s because it most likely is. It matters not whom uses homeopathy, facts remain facts and the laws of physics don’t change in deference to the status… Read more »

Homeopathy has absolute scientific basis
July 16, 2018 7:37 pm

Homeopathy states that a substance that can make ill can actually heal – when made into a homeopathic remedy. This method works and the philosophy is clear (scientific): The more the molecules of the original substance (even poisonous) is shaken and mixed with water, the more the “energy” of the substance is released. Shaking it (succussing) it enough times ensures that NONE of the original poisonous MOLECULES remain. What does remain is the ENERGY of the substace – which now HEALS. As the main principle of homeopathy states:: “Like cures like”. https://www.homeopathyschool.com/why-study-with-us/what-is-homeopathy/like-cures-like/ Many amazing cures are made with homeopathy. Not… Read more »

I have not remotely indicated to place all your trust in psychotropics, nor have I called all else falsehoods. Here is an excerpt from my comment “There may be some alternative medicine fields which do work, such as herbal therapy and a few others, however those mechanisms at the very least are not physically impossible to explain, they do have evidence behind them, however as with anything, it pays to be skeptical and perform due research, as there are many people out there seeking simply to make an easy buck while fleecing vulnerable people of their hard earned money.” Notice… Read more »

The Western Medical approach to treating depression and anxiety with meds is a slippery downhill slope. Once people get on those drugs they can rarely get off and they have terrible side affects. I obtained my degree in Science (pre-med) at a major big 10 university and worked for many years as a scientist and now have my nursing license. Please listen to #2 and FIND ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT! Aromatherapy, diet, exercise, talk therapy, herbs and vitamins can all have a much more positive affect than drugs. Or use the money you were going to spend on the hospital for treatments… Read more »

I Would Like to Admit My Mistake

I do apologize for misleading the public, as Homeopathy isn’t 20th century pseudoscience, but rather 19th century pseudoscience first fantasized by Samuel Christian Hahnemann (1755-1843), in a time before germ theory and pathology, the machinations of disease was understood. I do sincerely apologize for the lack of accuracy. With all your posturing however, you have yet to mention a single argument for how Homeopathy would work despite contradicting the most fundamental laws of physics – with dilutions at such high levels that the possibility of even a single molecule of active ingredient being present in the final solution being so… Read more »

My name is Menachem Mendel Harrison, of Miami Beach, Florida. My mother is Dr. Ludwika Harrison (a.k.a. Dr. Ruth Harrison). In case you or the COLlive.com audience don’t know who she is, my mother served the frum Jewish community of Miami Beach as a house call doctor for over 25 years. My mother can easily call upon tens of thousands of frum Lubavitchers for reference purposes. And as her son, to do a mitzvah, so can I. You made false and derogatory statements about a legitimate field of medicine that you, I presume, are unable to publicly testify about. I… Read more »

Please don’t give anybody false hopes, homeopathy is total nonsense and has been thoroughly debunked, the supposed active ingredients are so diluted as to not even be detectable at the molecular level.

It isn’t holy, nor does it have roots in any form of spirituality, nor is it ancient, it is simply 20th century pseudoscience hypothesized by one German doctor. There is no scientific evidence whatsoever supporting his theories, any supposed effects can be easily replicated by placebo. PLEASE stop spreading nonsense!

Please consider consulting with a homeopathic doctor as an alternative, as homeopathic treatment is far much cheaper then Western medical treatment.

May your son have a complete refuah shelaimah.
