Moishy Holtzberg, “the child of all of Israel,” remembers his parents and asks about them, his grandfather revealed in a radio interview Friday.
“He is a wise child. Moishy remembers many things,” Rabbi Shimon Rosenberg told Israel’s Reshet Beit station, ahead of the first anniversary of the Mumbai terror attack.
His daughter Rivki and her husband Rabbi Gabi Holtzberg were murdered in their Chabad House in India along with four other Jews.
Their son Moishy, under the custody of his grandparents in the northern Israeli city of Afula, will be celebrating his Upshernish – traditional 3 year-old first haircut.
“Sandra is still in Israel and is very close to Moishy,” Rosenberg said about the Indian nanny Sandra Samuel who heroically saved the child from his home after terrorists seized the Chabad center and killed its occupants. “(Moishy) talks about it from time to time,” Rosenberg added. “He asks where are Abba and Ima and we answer that they are in heaven.
“Two weeks ago he replied, ‘so I also want to go to heaven where Abba and Ima are.’ We didn’t know what to answer and changed the subject.”
On Kislev 1, family and friends will visit their grave in Jerusalem’s Har Hazeitim. A large event later that day in Kfar Chabad will also mark Moishy’s Upshernish.

we have to ask why but we shouldnt stop doing what we have to do in order to bring Moshiach NOW!!!!

it says that kedoshim r the highest level, especially when they spread yiddishkeit like gabi and rivki,
but elevation to the infinite almighty g-d are also infinite
(if the rebbe can say the FR is elevated every yud shvat than surely the chasidim can be)
we cannot afford to do the sad this or that Hashem has given him a very unique situation he has a fantastic support system a great family of course growing up he will have to deal with it and we, we have to not look with eyes of pity. pity is the worst thing a person can feel for another in a tough situation. it weakens Ch’V’Sh – making the person feel like a rachmones – ch’v’sh. so please stop. rather put your energy into saying his kpitel – that Hashem should help him have koach to deal with this… Read more »

3rd to last paragraph: Sandra is still in Israel and is very close to Moishy.
From this sounds like she’s not living with him. Hope I’m wrong.
They are coming back very soon!!! And for now, Hashem wants you to be here to help them etc. etc.
i think Moishy should know that heaven is a place not accessible, and that we all have to be patient to see them again. He needs to understand it is a separate place.
can’t go into all the explanations why. if you want to know more, please leave contact information in this comment section
Yes, Sandra is still with them – Rabbi Rosenberg said that at the very beginning of the interview. Moshe’s face evokes the deepest emotions — unleashed morning and a tears of some nechamah to see him smile and that B”H he is being brought up and surrounded by loving immediate and extended family. Up until now, I withheld the following comment, though others did post it. I daven that after the most horrific trauma possible, Moshe not be put in the limelight constantly as the “poster boy” of the tragedy and tzidkus of his parents. I say this in spite… Read more »

It seems that Sandra is not living with Moishy and the Rosenbergs anymore. Is this true?
